A new initiative aimed at accelerating robotics innovation is set to give startups across Britain and Europe access to advanced artificial intelligence tools, cloud computing resources, and hands-on technical support.

AI cloud provider Nebius has announced the launch of its Physical AI Living Lab, a six-month program designed to help emerging robotics companies develop, train, and deploy next-generation physical AI systems.

The project marks another step in Nebius’s ongoing collaboration with NVIDIA, as both companies continue working toward creating a powerful cloud-based ecosystem for robotics and physical AI development.

Program Gives Startups Access to Advanced NVIDIA Technologies

The Physical AI Living Lab will provide selected startups with direct access to NVIDIA’s suite of robotics and physical AI development tools.

Participants will work with technologies designed to streamline the creation, simulation, and deployment of intelligent robotic systems.

Among the tools available are NVIDIA OSMO for workload orchestration, NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation models, and the NVIDIA Isaac Sim and NVIDIA Isaac Lab platforms, which enable robot simulation, testing, and training.

Startups will also use the NVIDIA Physical AI Data Factory Blueprint, integrated into Nebius’s cloud environment, allowing teams to manage and scale their AI workloads efficiently.

The initiative is intended to help young robotics companies move beyond theoretical development and gain practical experience building real-world AI-powered systems.

Synthetic Data Generation Becomes a Key Part of Development

A major component of the program focuses on synthetic data creation, which is increasingly important for training robotics models.

Through integration with Voxel51’s FiftyOne platform, startups will be able to generate and manage large volumes of synthetic training data built on NVIDIA’s Cosmos world foundation models.

This capability is expected to help companies improve model performance while reducing the time and cost associated with collecting real-world datasets.

UK-Based Infrastructure Powers the First Cohort

The first phase of the Physical AI Living Lab will operate on Nebius infrastructure located in the United Kingdom.

The environment is built using NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, providing the computing power required for intensive simulation, training, and AI development tasks.

In addition to simulation tools, participating startups will have access to the full Nebius AI Cloud platform.

This infrastructure supports the entire AI lifecycle, from data preparation and model training to optimization and deployment into production environments.

The setup is intended to allow robotics companies to test and refine their technologies at scale without needing to invest heavily in their own computing infrastructure.

Applications Open Through NVIDIA Inception Network

Companies interested in joining the program will apply through the NVIDIA Inception startup ecosystem.

The inaugural group of startups is scheduled to begin work in September 2026.

Throughout the six-month program, engineering teams from both Nebius and NVIDIA will provide technical mentorship and guidance, helping participants navigate challenges related to robotics development, AI training, simulation, and deployment.

By combining high-performance cloud computing with cutting-edge robotics tools, the Physical AI Living Lab aims to create a launchpad for the next generation of European physical AI and robotics innovators.
