Artemis Capital Partners has completed fundraising for its fourth private equity vehicle, securing $254 million in total commitments as the Boston-based investment firm continues to expand its focus on specialized industrial technology businesses.

The close of Artemis Capital Partners IV, L.P. marks another step in the firm’s strategy of investing in companies that provide technologies and products for highly specialized, mission-critical applications.

Fund Targets Specialized Industrial Technology Companies

Fund IV will pursue investments across the industrial technology sector, with particular attention to businesses serving aerospace, defense, life sciences and semiconductor markets.

Artemis intends to build on its established approach of acquiring industrial technology platforms and developing them through operational and strategic initiatives before ultimately realizing value from its investments.

The firm focuses exclusively on differentiated Industrial Tech companies, targeting businesses whose technologies play important roles in demanding end markets.

Artemis Builds on Established Investment Strategy

Artemis Capital Partners is led by CEO James Ward and Chief Investment Officer Euan Milne.

The firm’s investment approach combines industry specialization with what it describes as a demand-first thematic sourcing model.

That strategy is designed to identify industrial technology opportunities by examining market demand and the needs of end users, rather than relying solely on conventional investment sourcing channels.

Artemis also applies a repeatable operational playbook across its portfolio, with the aim of supporting strategic value creation within the companies it backs.

Three Platforms Already Acquired

The newly closed fund has already begun deploying capital, with Artemis Capital Partners IV having acquired three platforms to date.

Those investments form the initial portfolio for the new fund as Artemis continues applying its buy-and-build strategy across targeted Industrial Tech markets.

Boston Firm Continues Industrial Tech Focus

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Artemis Capital Partners specializes in private equity investments involving differentiated Industrial Tech businesses.

The firm’s fourth fund maintains its established concentration on companies operating at the intersection of industrial technology and critical end markets, including aerospace, defense, life science and semiconductor applications.
