PSG Equity has closed its third European fund with more than €4.4 billion in commitments, giving the growth equity firm additional capital to back software and technology-enabled businesses across the continent.

The London- and Boston-based investor said PSG Europe III attracted both new and returning backers.

Its investor base includes state pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, family offices and high-net-worth individuals.

New Fund Targets European Technology Leaders

PSG Europe III will continue the firm’s established investment strategy of working with European software and technology companies that are pursuing rapid expansion.

The fund will focus on businesses with ambitions to develop into pan-European category leaders and ultimately compete on a global scale.

PSG also plans to support companies using artificial intelligence to reshape enterprise software, alongside emerging businesses built from the ground up around AI.

Among PSG’s recent European investments are Mistral AI, BrightAnalytics, Aikido Security, Quality Hosting, Emotion Mobility, Namirial and Glasswall.

European Platform Has Expanded Since 2019

PSG established its European operation in 2019 and has since built a team of 83 professionals.

The group includes investment specialists as well as experts in software and technology functions who work directly with management teams at portfolio companies.

The firm’s European activities have grown to 43 platform investments, 12 realization events and 98 add-on acquisitions.

Its portfolio operations have extended across 24 European cities.

Firm Records Multiple European Exits

PSG’s European track record also includes a series of completed exits.

Recent realizations include Sellsy, Signaturit, N2F, Artur’in, Hornetsecurity and Mapal.

The European team is based primarily in London, with a second office in Paris, supporting the firm’s investment activity and its work with technology companies across the region.

Dany Rammal Leads European Operations

Dany Rammal serves as PSG’s Head of Europe and leads the firm’s European platform as it continues investing across the software and technology-enabled services sectors.

The latest fund represents the firm’s continued commitment to the European market and builds on the investment platform developed since PSG began operating in the region.

PSG Equity Builds on Broader Investment Record

Founded in 2014 and led by Chief Executive Officer Mark Hastings, PSG Equity specializes in growth equity investments in software and technology-enabled services companies.

The firm works with businesses navigating transformational growth, pursuing strategic opportunities and building teams capable of supporting expansion.

Across its broader investment history, PSG has backed more than 170 companies and facilitated more than 550 add-on acquisitions.
