The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that American forces concluded another round of military operations against Iran, bringing the campaign to its seventh consecutive night of strikes.
According to the command, the latest missions ended at approximately 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time on July 17.
The operations form part of an ongoing U.S. effort directed by the Commander in Chief to target Iranian military capabilities across multiple domains.
Military Infrastructure Among Primary Targets
CENTCOM said the latest strikes focused on a range of strategic objectives, including surveillance facilities, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage sites, and maritime assets.
U.S. officials stated that the targeted facilities were selected as part of efforts to reduce Iran’s operational capabilities and disrupt military support networks.
Multiple Military Platforms Deployed
The military said the operation involved a combination of air and naval forces. Fighter aircraft, unmanned aerial systems, and U.S. warships participated in the strikes, alongside additional military assets supporting the campaign.
The coordinated use of different platforms reflects the broad scope of the ongoing operation across the region.
Naval Blockade Remains in Effect
In addition to the air and maritime strikes, CENTCOM said it continues to enforce a naval blockade targeting Iranian ports.
The command described the blockade as part of broader measures intended to maintain pressure on Iran while carrying out directives from U.S. leadership.
Officials indicated that the blockade remains fully operational as military activities continue.
U.S. Forces Maintain High Readiness Across the Region
CENTCOM also emphasized the continued presence of more than 50,000 American service members deployed throughout the Middle East.
According to the command, U.S. personnel remain on alert and prepared to respond to evolving security developments as operations against Iran continue.
