Meghan Markle has offered followers a glimpse into the Sussexes’ new life in the British countryside, with a short Instagram video capturing Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet enjoying a series of outdoor family activities.
The 34-second montage, shared by the Duchess of Sussex, featured the family rowing, fishing, walking through woodland and spending time around a country lake.
Wham!’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go played over the footage, while a Union flag and red heart emoji appeared in place of a written caption.
Among the moments attracting attention was a brief exchange between Archie and his father that appeared to reveal the seven-year-old’s distinctly American accent.
Archie’s American Voice Heard During Fishing Trip
Archie was filmed sitting in a rowing boat with Harry and Lilibet before the family moved on to fishing.
As Harry appeared to work on a fishing hook, Archie could be heard saying, “I got this,” with an American-sounding accent.
The detail is notable because Archie was born in the UK but spent most of his childhood in the United States after Harry and Meghan moved to California when he was still a baby.
However, another clip shared by the couple has reportedly prompted a different observation.
People magazine suggested Archie sounded noticeably British when he could be heard enthusiastically cheering, “Go! Go!”
The brief exchange has therefore offered a rare glimpse into how the young prince’s speech may have developed after growing up between the two countries.
Lilibet Shows Off Her Pink Pedicure
The video also gave followers a glimpse of five-year-old Lilibet, whose apparent fondness for pink featured prominently.
At one point, the young princess was shown sitting near a fire with her bare feet warmed by the flames.
Her toenails appeared to be painted pink.
Lilibet was later filmed riding a pink tasselled bicycle, with a doll positioned in the chair at the back, as she travelled along a track towards a group of deer.
Harry could also be heard calling for Archie as his son ran into view wearing a pink shirt and blue wellington boots.
Family Enjoys Life Among the Cotswolds Countryside
The montage presented a distinctly rural picture of the Sussexes’ life in Britain, with their Labrador, Pula, featuring prominently as the family explored the countryside.
Pula was shown running along a wooded path surrounded by trees and ferns before appearing beside the lake while Harry and the children sat in the boat.
Another sequence showed a child splashing through a puddle, while Harry and Meghan walked together along a country lane wearing wellington boots.
Meghan then turned towards the camera, apparently being operated by one of the children, and called out: “Come on, you!”

Meghan also appeared to have taken a practical approach to her countryside wardrobe.
The Duchess wore Le Chameau Jameson boots, a brand that has also been worn frequently by the Princess of Wales.
She paired the boots with a brown Cyana Convertible Puffer Jacket, reportedly priced at $398.
The casual clothing fitted the setting as the family explored woodland paths, muddy tracks and the area surrounding their new home.
Sussexes Settle Into New Cotswolds Home
The family recently moved into a new home in the Cotswolds while retaining their Montecito mansion in California. They also have a holiday property in Portugal.
Harry and Meghan have indicated that they are happy to be back in Britain, with Archie and Lilibet having already started school.
Their return, however, has taken place against the backdrop of continuing tensions with the Royal Family and questions over their status in Britain.
King Charles Draws Line Under Working Royal Status
The Sussexes’ return has also coincided with renewed friction over their relationship with the monarchy.
According to reports cited by People magazine, King Charles made clear in a letter to senior government officials, military figures, Lord Lieutenants and the Sussexes’ team that Harry and Meghan remain private citizens rather than working members of the Royal Family.
The clarification came amid speculation that their return might eventually lead to some form of “half in, half out” arrangement.
The couple were reportedly surprised by the King’s message, which appeared to rule out such an arrangement.
Uganda Withdraws From Invictus Games
The dispute has also been linked to Uganda’s decision to withdraw from the Invictus Games, the international sporting event founded by Harry for wounded, injured and sick military personnel and veterans.
People magazine reported that sources close to the Sussexes believed Uganda’s withdrawal was directly connected to the King’s position on their status.
Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who is also the son of President Yoweri Museveni, publicly announced the country’s decision to withdraw.
He said Uganda did not want its participation to be interpreted as opposition to King Charles, whom he described as deeply revered.
The decision meant Ugandan competitors who had been preparing for the event would no longer participate.
Sussexes’ Return Comes Six Years After Their Departure
Harry and Meghan left Britain six years ago, choosing to establish their lives in the United States while pursuing greater personal and financial independence.
Their departure was followed by a prolonged dispute with the Royal Family, including disagreements over their security arrangements when visiting Britain.
