Pamela Anderson has given fans a glimpse into her quiet life on Vancouver Island, sharing moments from her sprawling family estate as she enjoyed an autumn morning filled with gardening, reading and a peaceful walk by the water.

The 59-year-old actress posted a video on Instagram documenting her morning routine, offering a rare look at the property she returned to in 2019 after years away from her childhood home.

Captioning the footage, she wrote: “Fall is the season of the soul…”

The video began with Anderson putting on a warm sweater over her dress while standing in the sunroom before heading outdoors with her dog.

She later took her followers into the garden, where she stopped to admire the flowers and cut a few blooms.

The actress also shared footage of her garden after the rain, explaining that she particularly enjoyed seeing the plants in those conditions.

“I love the garden after it’s rained,” she told her followers.

Anderson subsequently settled down with a book, revealing that she was reading Amor and Psyche: The Psychic Development of the Feminine.

“I’ve read this book so many times,” she said.

The book, written by Jungian psychoanalyst Erich Neumann, explores themes of analytical psychology and feminine psychological development.

While looking through its pages, Anderson discovered a small card bearing the message: “There’s nothing to worry about.”

“True,” the Last Showgirl actress responded.

She also showed the contents of her woven garden basket, which included her book, glasses, pruning shears and a moisturising cream from her vegan skincare brand, Sonsie.

Another wrote: “Dream life. Pam knows what’s up.”

One fan also drew a comparison with late Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe, writing: “I feel like this is the kind of peace Marilyn Monroe could have had and I feel deeply sad that she didn’t live to have it.”

Actress Returns to Six-Acre Property Where She Grew Up

Anderson’s Vancouver Island estate is located in Ladysmith, British Columbia, and has been connected to her family since the 1950s, when her grandparents purchased the property.

The six-acre estate includes a cabin where the actress spent part of her childhood.

It also features the main residence, known as The Roadhouse, vegetable and rose gardens, a long pier and an expansive porch.

Although Anderson purchased the family property around 30 years ago, she officially returned to live there in 2019.

Speaking previously about growing up in the area, she told the Vancouver Sun: “I think I was really spoiled. When you grow up on the beach, you just expect it every morning. You expect these mornings.”

She also reflected on her return, saying: “I just kind of sit around sometimes and go, ‘How did I get here?

What happened?’ I just left here, I went around the world and I came back slightly unscathed. I came back in one piece, which is a miracle.”

“I always knew that I would come back here. I always knew if I had this place, I would keep a little bit of my sanity and a little bit of my feet on the ground.”

Vancouver Island Home Features in Pamela’s Garden Of Eden

The actress’s return to her family property and its restoration became the subject of the Hulu series Pamela’s Garden Of Eden.

The programme follows Anderson as she leaves her Hollywood lifestyle behind, returns to her roots on Vancouver Island and undertakes an extensive renovation of her grandmother’s legacy property.

The show’s second season also featured her helping her sons, Brandon, 30, and Dylan, 28, with renovations to their home in Los Angeles.

Anderson shares both children with her ex-husband, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, 64.

Anderson Opens Up About Finding Strength in a Simpler Life

During an appearance on Today to discuss the series, Anderson explained that returning home gave her an opportunity to approach her life differently.

“When I came home, I thought, ‘I am going to rewrite my life and I’m going to start with this property.’

And it became like an art project. It really took my heart and soul,” she said.

She also spoke about spending time alone on the property, surrounded by her dogs, plants and the natural environment.

“I was really happy to spend this year just on my own with my dogs and my vegetables and the trees and the ocean,” she said.

However, Anderson acknowledged that the experience had not always been easy, admitting that there were moments of loneliness.

“And as lonely as it’s been at times, it’s a good kind of lonely and it’s something that also made me stronger,” she added.
