Christine McGuinness was among the celebrities who attended the gala night of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical on Wednesday, turning heads in a figure-hugging latex dress.
The 38-year-old model showcased her curves in the revealing outfit, which featured a plunging neckline that highlighted her cleavage.
She completed her glamorous appearance as she joined fellow guests for a special performance of the West End production.
Christine attended the event with her friend Will Njobvu, joining a host of familiar faces at the performance, which was held in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The special evening also marked the stage debut of actress Teri Hatcher as the formidable Runway magazine editor Miranda Priestly.
Megan McKenna and Other Stars Attend Gala Night
Megan McKenna was among the celebrities who embraced the production’s fashion theme, arriving in a sharply tailored grey suit paired with matching leather gloves.
Television presenter Lorraine Kelly also attended the event with her friend Mark Heyes.
Her appearance came after her show was cancelled earlier in the day because of a power cut at ITV studios.
She opted for a stylish black leather dress for the occasion.
Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova showcased a glamorous look in a black thigh-split dress and matching heels, while Jess Wright was also among the stylish guests.
Former Love Island contestant Gabby Allen attracted attention in a daring black sheer lace dress, while Belle Hassan chose a red sheer corset for her appearance.
Ekin-Su Culculoglu opted for a low-cut white shirt paired with a fitted grey mini dress.
Elsewhere, Billie Shepherd and her sister Sam Faiers enjoyed a night out together.
Sam completed her all-black ensemble with a leopard-print hat.
Chef James Martin attended with his fiancée Kim Johnson.
Teri Hatcher Takes Over as Miranda Priestly
The gala marked Teri Hatcher’s first appearance as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical, taking over the role from Vanessa Williams, who portrayed the character between 2024 and 2026.
Hatcher will play the demanding fashion editor for a limited engagement running until February 6, 2027.
Before the performance, the actress attended a photocall in a striking silver metallic dress.
She later received an enthusiastic reception from the audience during her curtain call.
Announcing her casting, Hatcher said she was delighted to join the West End production, describing Miranda as an intelligent and commanding character with an unmistakable sense of humour.
She said: “I’ve been fortunate enough to play some pretty formidable women throughout my career, but very few can compare to THE Miranda Priestly.”
The actress also praised the character’s confidence, ambition and distinctive style, adding that she was looking forward to bringing Miranda’s sharp wit to the stage and introducing her portrayal to audiences.
Hatcher Brings Previous Musical Experience to the Role
The actress is no stranger to musical theatre, having appeared in the national tour of Cabaret and played Morticia Addams in a Los Angeles production of The Addams Family.
Hatcher first entered the entertainment industry in 1984 as a cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers before securing television roles.
She appeared in the NBC sitcom Seinfeld in 1993, playing Sidra, whose memorable storyline included the phrase “real and spectacular”.
Later that year, she landed the role of Lois Lane in ABC’s Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, appearing in the series between 1993 and 1997.
Her best-known television role came in Desperate Housewives, where she played Susan Mayer across all eight seasons of the series, which ran from 2004 to 2012.
The show subsequently inspired the creation of Bravo’s The Real Housewives reality television franchise.
Christine McGuinness Shares Ibiza Holiday Memories
Christine’s appearance at the musical comes shortly after she returned to the UK from a holiday in Ibiza with singer Duncan James.
Last week, the television personality shared a video on Instagram documenting moments from her time on the Spanish island.
In the footage, she wore a gold two-piece outfit that showcased her toned figure while spending time on a yacht and enjoying the ocean with friends.
Duncan, whom Christine met while appearing on The Real Full Monty in 2021, was accompanied by his boyfriend, model and actor Alexandre Roque.
Reflecting on the trip, Christine revealed that she had initially spent much of her time alone in her hotel room before Duncan encouraged her to join the group.
She explained that she had three nights to herself in Ibiza but spent two of them largely hiding in her room.
However, her friend’s visit changed her plans, with Christine praising him for making her feel comfortable without judgement or pressure.
She also recalled their friendship, which developed further after they appeared together on Celebrity Hunted, describing Duncan as someone with whom she could always be herself.
Christine Opens Up About Life With Ex-Husband Paddy
Christine has previously spoken about her separation from former husband Paddy McGuinness and their decision to continue living together despite the end of their marriage.
The former couple share three children: 13-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, and nine-year-old Felicity, all of whom have autism.
They have maintained their living arrangement to avoid disrupting their children’s lives, with both parents occupying separate areas of their Cheshire mansion.
Christine previously explained that she and Paddy were fortunate to have enough space to maintain their independence while continuing to raise their children together.
She said they still had a good relationship despite their separation, adding that she could not simply get rid of him.
The former couple’s arrangement has continued even as Paddy has reportedly moved on with a BBC Radio 2 publicist, who has since left her position.
Christine Says Living Apart From Paddy Will Feel Strange
During an upcoming appearance on Ireland’s Unfiltered With Lucy Kennedy, Christine reflected on the possibility of eventually living separately from Paddy.
In a preview of the episode, she explained that he had been an important part of her life since they met when she was 19.
Although they have been separated for three years, Christine said their current arrangement continued to work because they maintained their own spaces while remaining committed to their children.
She admitted that living without him in the future would feel strange, given their long history together.
Christine also suggested that their ability to maintain a positive relationship was partly because they were no longer married.
Despite the end of their relationship, she described Paddy as a significant figure in her life and said they continued to get along well while prioritising their family.
