In an interview with Los Angeles Magazine, Kirk mentioned that her character would be “deadly, brilliant, and complicated.”

However, she remained tight-lipped about any further details, jokingly stating, “If I told you, I would have to kill you.”

Kirk, who recently moved back to London, has expressed her desire to follow in the footsteps of iconic Bond girls such as Ursula Andress, Grace Jones, and Halle Berry.

Kirk’s spokesperson previously confirmed her interest in a Bond role, stating that she would gladly accept the opportunity.

As for the next Bond actor, the producers have yet to make an official announcement regarding Daniel Craig’s successor.

James Norton currently leads the bookmakers’ predictions, followed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Henry Cavill.

Fans will have to wait until at least 2025 for the release of the next Bond film, referred to as “Bond 26.”

Aside from her potential involvement in the Bond franchise, Kirk has gained recognition for her roles in films such as Ocean’s 8 (2018), where she starred alongside Sandra Bullock, and the sci-fi thriller Vice (2016), featuring Bruce Willis.

However, Kirk is also known for her involvement in high-profile scandals, as she dated and subsequently exposed two powerful Hollywood executives.

Her relationships with former NBCUniversal vice chairman Ron Meyer and former Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara led to their professional downfall after their affairs with Kirk were revealed.

Kirk’s personal and professional life became entangled when she met director Neil Marshall in 2017.

Marshall, known for directing films like Dog Soldiers and Hellboy, as well as popular TV series Game of Thrones and Westworld, became involved with Kirk romantically.

However, both Marshall and Kirk’s ex-partner Joshua Newton faced accusations of attempting to extort Ron Meyer, which eventually led to Meyer’s termination.

Marshall vehemently denied any involvement in a blackmail plot, describing the situation as a “witch-hunt” fueled by powerful men in the industry.

The complex intertwining of Kirk’s personal and professional life has garnered significant media attention, but her audition for a role in the James Bond film signifies a potential new chapter in her acting career.
