TS Galaxy Secures Siphesihle Maduna, Former AmaZulu Midfielder, to Boost Squad Amidst Relegation Woes from Cape Town Spurs

TS Galaxy has bolstered their midfield with the acquisition of former AmaZulu FC midfielder, Siphesihle Maduna.

The 24-year-old has found a new home at the Rockets following his departure from Cape Town Spurs, who recently faced relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Maduna faced limited playing opportunities during his time with Urban Warriors, making just seven appearances across all competitions last season.

Now, he’s eager to make a strong comeback and recapture the stellar form he exhibited during his tenure at AmaZulu.

Having left AmaZulu after the 2022/23 season, Maduna boasts a record of 87 appearances, scoring seven goals, and contributing six assists during his time with the Durban-based club.

Maduna isn’t the only addition to TS Galaxy’s squad this season.

Goalkeeper Zama Dlamini, previously with Highlands Park and Cape Town Spurs, is also training with the team.

Zama Dlamini’s Quest for a New Start

Dlamini, a 32-year-old goalkeeper, is on the lookout for a fresh start following his departure from Spurs.

Last season, he featured in five matches and conceded eight goals.

His potential inclusion would bolster TS Galaxy’s goalkeeping roster alongside Fiacre Ntwari and Wensten van der Linde.

Victor Letsoalo’s Move

Victor Letsoalo joins TS Galaxy from AmaZulu FC, where he made an impact with three goals in 22 matches. With uncertainty surrounding Samir Nurkovic’s future at Gallants, Letsoalo is seen as a potential replacement.

Departures and Transitions

TS Galaxy bid farewell to several players, including captain Pogiso Sanoka, Vasilije Kolak, Higor Vidal, Orebotse Mongae, and Lindokuhle Mbatha.

Pogiso Sanoka, in particular, is set to join SuperSport United after his departure from TS Galaxy.

This season promises to be a period of transition and new beginnings for TS Galaxy, as they integrate new talent and prepare for upcoming challenges in their campaign.
