Sead Ramovic, the head coach of TS Galaxy, recently shared his thoughts on the club’s new acquisition, Siphesihle Maduna.
Maduna made his debut this past weekend, stepping onto the field in the second half of the Betway Premiership opener against Richards Bay FC at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
Maduna’s Journey to TS Galaxy
The 24-year-old midfielder joined TS Galaxy during this transfer window, following his departure from Cape Town Spurs, who were relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Ramovic sees a lot of potential in Maduna and is optimistic about what he can bring to the team, despite the player not being at his best in the past couple of seasons.
Ramovic’s Insights on Maduna’s Potential
Ramovic praised Maduna’s technical skills but noted that there’s room for improvement, especially in terms of defense.
He acknowledged that Maduna hasn’t had much game time over the last few seasons, which means it will take some time for him to fully adjust to the team’s style and intensity.
The Path Forward
“Our track record over the past two years shows that we’ve managed to bring out the best in many players,” Ramovic explained.
“If we hadn’t, they wouldn’t have ended up at some of the top clubs in the league.”
He continued, “Maduna is an incredibly skilled player, but he needs to get up to speed with our team’s high-intensity play and defensive strategies.
We believe in gradual integration to help him adapt.”
Looking Ahead
Ramovic remains hopeful that Maduna will continue to grow and become a key player for the team.
“He’s a great guy with a strong character,” Ramovic said.
“With time, I’m confident he’ll be able to contribute significantly and become one of our standout players.”
