Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones and his wife, Love Island star Chyna Mills, have announced that they are expecting their second child together.

The couple shared the news on Instagram on Monday, appearing alongside their two-year-old daughter, Havana, in a family announcement video.

Neil Jones and Chyna Mills Share Pregnancy Announcement

The couple chose a field as the setting for their announcement, with all three family members dressed in matching white outfits.

In the heartwarming video, Neil and Chyna embraced while standing beside their daughter before the professional dancer leaned down to kiss his wife’s growing baby bump.

They accompanied the post with a simple white heart emoji, confirming the pregnancy without adding further details.

The announcement attracted congratulatory messages from several of Neil’s Strictly Come Dancing colleagues.

BBC dance show judge Motsi Mabuse was among those who reacted, writing: “Love love, this is definitely my auntie year!! Congratulations guys. Sending lots of kisses”.

Couple’s Italian Wedding Took Place Without Neil’s Family

The pregnancy announcement comes months after Neil, 44, and Chyna, 27, celebrated their marriage with an extravagant wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy, in July.

The couple exchanged vows at Villa San Michele, A Belmond Hotel, sharing photographs from the occasion on social media.

Their wedding celebrations followed a smaller ceremony at London’s Marylebone Town Hall a week earlier, where they had officially married.

However, photographs from the Italian ceremony featured Neil and Chyna without members of his family, amid reports of an ongoing dispute between the television personalities and his relatives.

Reports emerged in the month before the wedding that Neil had excluded his family from the celebrations.

It was also claimed that his mother, Helen, and sister, Terri, had not been informed of the ceremony’s date or location.

A source previously told The Sun that the situation had caused considerable upset among Neil’s relatives, particularly because his family had attended his previous wedding to fellow Strictly dancer Katya Jones.

The insider said several relatives felt excluded from his life and had been blocked by the couple on social media.

Chyna Previously Accused Neil’s Mother of Bullying and Racism

The family dispute became public in December last year when Chyna spoke out about her relationship with Neil’s relatives.

Sharing black-and-white photographs from their daughter Havana’s christening, the Love Island star accused her mother-in-law of bullying, racism and repeated disrespect.

Chyna claimed she had experienced difficulties with Neil’s mother since they first met and said she had eventually decided to address the situation directly.

In her Instagram statement, she wrote: “I’ve faced bullying, racism, and constant disrespect from a so-called MIL since the moment I met her.”

She also alleged that she had attempted to arrange a conversation to resolve their differences but received no response.

Chyna said Neil’s family chose not to attend Havana’s christening because of their loyalty to Helen, describing their absence as the final straw in a disagreement that had been developing for years.

She added that she would not accept negative comments or what she described as false accounts of her daughter’s special occasions.

Neil’s Sister Responds to Chyna’s Allegations

Following Chyna’s public accusations, Neil’s sister Terri defended their mother and challenged the claims made against her.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said: “I don’t want to comment at this time.

If she wants to spin lies, then look, the truth will come out eventually.”

A source familiar with the family disagreement had previously suggested that the tensions extended beyond Havana’s baptism.

The insider claimed Neil had made efforts to understand and resolve the problems but that he and Chyna remained uncertain about why some relatives appeared to dislike her.

The source also said the couple had been upset by the public discussion of private family matters, although Chyna felt compelled to respond after relatives and family friends allegedly made unpleasant comments.

The Sun also reported that Chyna responded to a comment from a family friend on Instagram, explaining that she and Neil had decided not to invite Helen because of her alleged treatment of Chyna and what they described as a lack of acknowledgement of their daughter.

She reportedly said they did not want that atmosphere around Havana during her christening and claimed an earlier attempt to resolve the disagreement for their daughter’s sake had been ignored.

Neil and Chyna’s Relationship Began in 2022

Neil and Chyna went public with their relationship in 2022, despite their 16-year age difference.

The couple announced their engagement before welcoming their daughter, Havana, the following year.

Neil is a four-time World Latin Champion and has regularly appeared on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing as a professional dancer and backing performer.

He was previously married to fellow professional dancer Katya Jones.

Their relationship lasted more than a decade, with the pair spending six years married before separating.

Their marriage ended a year after Katya was photographed kissing her celebrity dance partner, comedian Seann Walsh, during the competition.

The incident attracted widespread attention and became associated with the show’s widely discussed ‘Strictly curse’.
