YouTuber and boxer King Kenny has been spotted leaving Maya Jama’s £1.5 million London apartment following a two-night stay, adding to speculation about the nature of their relationship.
The 29-year-old was photographed departing the Love Island presenter’s home on Saturday morning ahead of an appearance on Celebrity Traitors Reunion, hosted by their co-star Romesh Ranganathan on BBC Radio 2.
Dressed entirely in black, Kenny headed towards a waiting car after leaving the property.
He had also been seen leaving the apartment a day earlier to attend filming for Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked.
However, sources close to the pair have maintained that Kenny stayed on Maya’s sofa throughout his visit.
Michael Sheen Adds to Romance Speculation
Speculation about a possible relationship between the pair intensified after fellow Celebrity Traitors contestant Michael Sheen commented on their closeness during Friday’s edition of the show‘s spin-off programme.
Although Sheen was unable to attend the recording because of rehearsals for his upcoming play, a clip showed him discovering the identities of the contestants who had been secretly working as Traitors.
Speaking to host Ed Gamble, Sheen revealed that he had suspected Maya and Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 35, of being Traitors.
However, he appeared particularly surprised when he discovered that Kenny had also been deceiving him throughout the competition.
When Gamble pointed out that he had barely suspected Kenny, Sheen responded by recalling his theory that Kenny and Maya could have been working together.
He said: “I said what if it’s Kenny and Maya together, that would be… that’s a killer blow.”
After Maya was revealed as the final Traitor, Sheen exclaimed: “Maya. Kenny and Maya, I said it!”
He subsequently expressed frustration that he had dismissed his own suspicion, adding that the pair “spend way too much time together”.
Sources Deny That the Pair Are Dating
Despite the growing speculation, people close to Maya, 32, have denied that anything romantic is developing between the presenter and Kenny.
A source told The Sun that the pair were simply friends and that there was no romantic involvement.
“Maya and Kenny are just friends. There is nothing romantic between them,” the source said.
The insider also explained that Kenny had been sleeping on Maya’s sofa and that both found the rumours about their relationship amusing.
“Kenny has been firmly on the sofa this week and the pair find it hilarious that their relationship could be anything else,” the source added.
“They’ve seen fans of the show talking about them online and find it really funny, but romance has not and is not on the cards.”
The source further disclosed that Maya currently has several friends staying at her apartment, with Kenny joining the group to spend time together.
According to the insider, the group watched the Celebrity Traitors final together and prepared their outfits for a Halloween celebration.
Their Close Bond on Celebrity Traitors
Maya and Kenny’s relationship attracted attention throughout their appearance on the BBC One reality competition.
The pair, who were independently banished as Traitors during the final, became the subject of speculation among viewers who noticed their interactions in the castle.
Fans pointed to their apparent chemistry, prolonged eye contact and flirtatious physical contact as reasons for questioning whether their friendship extended beyond the programme.
The speculation gathered further momentum when Kenny was spotted leaving Maya’s apartment after spending two nights there.
Kenny Joins Maya’s Halloween Celebration
Kenny and Maya were also reunited at a Halloween party hosted by the presenter on Saturday night.
The celebration took place at 83 Rivington Street in Shoreditch, where several guests gathered for the event.
Maya opted for an elaborate costume inspired by Olympic gold medallist Sir Mo Farah.
Her outfit included a bald cap, goatee, running vest and shorts.
Kenny attended the party in a more understated orange jumpsuit, joining the presenter and their wider circle of friends for the Halloween celebration.
