The Gala and Performance
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex concluded their Canadian tour with a lavish gala dinner in Vancouver on Friday night.

The gala, held at the Vancouver Convention Centre, featured Canadian crooner Michael Bublé, who performed a rewritten version of ‘My Way’.

Bublé’s performance was a special nod to Prince Harry, with lyrics altered to honor his journey.

Royal Attire
Meghan, 42, looked stunning in a one-shoulder olive green dress by Canadian designer Greta Constantine, paired with shoes by Manolo Blahnik.

She also wore a necklace by Logan Hollowell. Harry, 39, was dapper in a dark suit, combined with a black tie and white shirt.

Special Guests:
The couple was joined at the event by Michael Bublé and his wife Luisa Lopilato, both of whom had attended an earlier curling event with the couple.

Extended Stay:
Although they had initially planned to head home to Montecito, California, after the Invictus Games events, the couple extended their stay by a night.

This decision allowed them to enjoy a party with athletes and organizers, capping off their memorable visit to Canada.

The Gala Highlights

  • Bublé’s performance included lines like ‘You’ve earned each day, the right to say, I did it my way’, tailored to celebrate Prince Harry’s achievements.
  • Prince Harry, in his speech, praised the warm welcome from the Four Host First Nations and highlighted the spirit of resilience showcased by the competitors.
  • The Duke and Duchess were presented with woven blankets for each of their children from the Salish people, a heartfelt gift symbolizing their parents’ meaningful work.

Celebration of Resilience
The Invictus Games hold a special significance as they celebrate the human spirit and provide a platform for individuals to showcase their abilities, inspire others, and honor the sacrifices of those who have served.

Special Moments

  • The couple’s visit included memorable experiences like Harry trying out a skeleton bobsled, hitting a top speed of 61mph, and meeting with Nigerian powerlifter Peacemaker Azuegbulam, who found solace and strength through sports after sustaining injuries in combat.
  • Their visit also included a touching moment at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center, where they met First Nations youth ambassadors and learned about the native Canadian tribes’ heritage.

The Gala’s Significance
The gala was not just a conclusion to their Canadian tour but also marked one year until the 2025 Invictus Games in Whistler, British Columbia.

The event served as a celebration of resilience, unity, and the unbreakable spirit of all involved.
