Inter Miami host Nashville on Wednesday, and coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino says he expects Lionel Messi to start for his team as they try to maintain their push for the Major League Soccer playoffs.
In the second half of Saturday’s 2-0 win against Red Bulls in New York, Messi and his old Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets both came off the bench to contribute; Messi scored another memorable goal despite his little playing time.

The final match in New York was “the game he needed, the key game for him to have a bit of recovery,” as Martino put it. He should go first if there are no problems.
