Labour Party House of Representatives member, Amobi Ogah, has encouraged Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, and his supporters, referred to as the ‘Obidents,’ to back the present government.

Putting Nigeria First and Respecting the Mandate
Ogah expressed his belief that politicians should support the winner of an election until the court or God intervenes.
He emphasized the significance of prioritizing the interests of Nigeria above personal agendas, asserting that the nation’s welfare should take precedence.
Ogah emphasized that being involved in politics means not losing hope and understanding that victories can come in the future.
