After enduring a difficult journey of loss, Kelsey Parker, widow of The Wanted star Tom Parker, has found a new chapter in her life.

Kelsey recently shared a heartwarming photo on Instagram, featuring her and her new boyfriend, Will, who works as a tree surgeon.

The image, simply captioned with a heart emoji, marks a significant moment for Kelsey, who has navigated grief publicly since her husband’s passing.

Meeting at a Meaningful Event

It’s believed that Kelsey met Will during a charity football match held in honor of her late husband.

The event was part of Kelsey’s continuous efforts to keep Tom’s memory alive through fundraising.

Reports suggest the two bonded during the match and were recently spotted enjoying a date night at London’s Royal Garden Hotel.

According to a source, “Will and Kelsey really hit it off earlier this year, and he has been incredibly supportive of her.”

Embracing Support and Love

Kelsey hasn’t been shy about her new relationship.

She and Will have been seen attending several events together, looking happy and comfortable in each other’s company.

They were last seen at a gala, where they appeared very much in love, showing how far Kelsey has come in her healing process.

Kelsey’s Journey After Loss

Kelsey became a widow in March 2022 when Tom Parker passed away after a long battle with brain cancer at just 33.

Since then, she has been vocal about her grieving process and finding peace.

In a previous interview, she mentioned how she believed Tom would eventually send the right person for her, saying, “When it’s meant to be, it’ll be. That person will be sent by Tom.”

A Look Back at Past Relationships

Kelsey’s new romance comes after her brief relationship with electrician Sean Boggans, which began in November 2022.

Although the pair parted ways around the first anniversary of Tom’s death, Kelsey has always spoken fondly of Sean.

She described him as someone who entered her life when she needed support, but she eventually decided to focus on her career and her children.

Facing Public Scrutiny

Despite finally finding happiness again, Kelsey has faced criticism from online trolls, accusing her of moving on too quickly.

She has been open about the emotional toll of these comments, emphasizing that there’s no “right” way to grieve.

In response to her critics, she told The Daily Star, “Tom would want me to be happy.

You’ve got one life, so you should live it.”

Navigating Grief in the Public Eye

Kelsey has been candid about the pressures of grieving in the public eye.

She has frequently stated that there is no manual for how to mourn a loved one and that people should not judge others for how they process their emotions.

She expressed, “There’s so much stigma around grief.

People expect me to be in mourning forever, but that’s not reality. I’m still young, and I have children to care for.”

Remembering Tom Parker

Kelsey and Tom had been together for 13 years before his passing.

Their love story, which began long before his cancer diagnosis in 2020, culminated in a beautiful wedding in Surrey in 2018.

Tom fought valiantly against stage 4 glioblastoma, even performing with his band during a Greatest Hits tour after his tumor had stabilized.

Sadly, his condition worsened after the tour, and he passed away in March 2022.

As Kelsey continues to honor Tom’s memory while embracing new love, she shows immense strength in balancing both her past and her future.
