Brooklyn Beckham has removed a photograph featuring himself, his wife Nicola Peltz and their friend Damian Hurley from his Instagram account after followers commented on his appearance in the picture.
The 27-year-old shared a series of photographs on Sunday from a Halloween party in Los Angeles attended by the trio over the weekend.
However, one particular image attracted attention after showing Damian with his arm around Nicola while Brooklyn stood behind them.
The photograph prompted several followers to describe Brooklyn as looking like an outsider, with some suggesting he appeared uncomfortable alongside the pair.
Fans Mock Brooklyn’s Position in Halloween Photograph
Nicola, 31, and Damian, 24, attended the party wearing matching leather outfits, while Brooklyn opted for a Superman T-shirt and oversized glasses.
Their coordinated costumes featured Nicola in a Catwoman-inspired outfit complete with a bullwhip, while Damian also wore a matching leather ensemble.
The image attracted comments from followers who questioned the arrangement of the trio.
One Instagram user wrote: “Bless him he looks like a spare part,” while another commented that “Brooklyn looks so out of place”.
Others described him as the third wheel, with one follower writing that he was “giving 3rd wheel vibe”.
Another questioned why Nicola had chosen to wear a matching costume with another man, while a different commenter suggested Brooklyn would have been better suited to a Batman outfit.
One follower also described Nicola and Damian as “couple goals”.
Brooklyn has since removed the photograph from the Instagram carousel, leaving the remaining pictures of himself and Nicola.
Brooklyn Shares Tribute to Nicola After Deleting Image
Following the removal of the photograph, Brooklyn shared a solo picture of Nicola on his Instagram Stories.
The actress was captioned “my girl”, with Ariana Grande’s song Dangerous Woman playing alongside the image.
The post came amid continued public displays of affection between the couple, who celebrated seven years together on Thursday.
Brooklyn also previously shared a photograph of Nicola looking surprised, accompanied by a message declaring his feelings for her.
“Yeah I am obsessed with my wife. Bring on the comments, I don’t care. She’s perfect xx,” he wrote, adding a middle-finger emoji.
Nicola and Damian’s Costumes Resemble David and Victoria’s 1999 Outfits
The Halloween costumes worn by Nicola and Damian also bore a striking resemblance to an outfit worn by Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, in 1999.
At the time, the couple wore matching leather outfits, when Brooklyn was just three months old.
Damian, the only child of actress Elizabeth Hurley, and Brooklyn have known each other since childhood. Both also share Sir Elton John as their godfather.
The trio have attended several social gatherings together, including celebrations for David Furnish’s 64th birthday in Venice a week earlier.
Damian also left affectionate comments on both Nicola’s Halloween photographs and Brooklyn’s Instagram post.
Commenting on Nicola’s pictures, he wrote: “i love you so much what a nighttt.”
He also responded to Brooklyn’s now-edited carousel, writing: “I love thiss the best night.”
Brooklyn and Nicola Mark Seven Years Together
The deleted photograph came shortly after Brooklyn and Nicola publicly celebrated the seventh anniversary of their relationship.
Brooklyn shared a photograph of himself kissing Nicola on the cheek, alongside pictures of two bouquets of flowers and a handwritten love letter.
Nicola was also pictured holding a red Chanel handbag valued at £5,390.
In his message, Brooklyn described his wife as his best friend and the most important person in his life.
“My beautiful Nicola, you mean absolutely everything to me,” he wrote.
“You’re my whole world, my best friend, and the most important person in my life.
I’m so lucky I get to love you and spend forever by your side. I love you more than words can ever explain.”
However, the declaration attracted criticism from some followers, with several describing the public display as “over performative”.
Others referred to previous comments Brooklyn had allegedly made about his parents’ social media posts, writing: “From the guy who called his parents’ social media posts ‘performative’…”
Another follower commented: “Another millionth declaration.”
Couple Share Matching Anniversary Messages
Brooklyn and Nicola have several dates marking milestones in their relationship, including their April 2022 wedding and their August 2025 vow renewal.
Thursday’s celebration marked seven years since they reconnected at a Halloween party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio in Los Angeles in 2019.
The pair had previously been introduced at the Coachella music festival in April 2017.
Nicola also shared a tribute to her husband on Instagram to mark the occasion.
“Happy anniversary my love, my best friend, my everything,” she wrote.
“I can’t believe it’s been 7 years by your side, I wouldn’t wish for it any other way. i love you with my entire soul. i adore your love letters and morning coffees with our puppies please never change. i fall harder for you everyday.”
