The president said all scheduled meetings had been completed, along with several additional discussions held on the sidelines of the summit.

Air Defense Tops Ukraine’s Agenda

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is using the summit to seek greater support for strengthening its air defense capabilities as the country continues to face ongoing security threats.

He said securing additional defensive assistance remains one of Kyiv’s principal objectives during talks with NATO partners.

The Ukrainian leader also emphasized the importance of reinforcing the country’s diplomatic position through continued engagement with allied governments.

President Reaffirms Ukraine’s NATO Aspirations

Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s partners continue to express support for the country’s future within NATO, describing Ukraine’s place in the alliance as justified.

While no new membership announcement was made, the president indicated that discussions at the summit reflected continued backing from partner nations for Ukraine’s long-term Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

Bilateral Meetings Expand Beyond Official Schedule

The Ukrainian president said his delegation completed every meeting originally planned for the day while also participating in several additional discussions that were arranged during the summit.

He suggested the extra meetings reflected ongoing efforts to deepen cooperation with international partners on security, defense, and diplomatic issues.

Kyiv Stresses Equal Partnership and Civilian Protection

Zelenskyy said Ukraine remains committed to building effective and equal partnerships with countries supporting its defense and recovery.

He added that protecting human life continues to guide Ukraine’s international engagement, thanking allied governments and partners for their continued assistance.
