US President Donald Trump has released a list of 25 achievements he says his administration has delivered since he returned to the White House in January 2025, highlighting immigration enforcement, tax policy, national security, trade and energy among the areas where he claims significant progress.
Trump published the list on Truth Social on Friday, September 18, as his administration continues to promote its governing record ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. An independent archive of his Truth Social activity shows a post that evening titled “TOP 25 TRUMP ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF TERM THREE.”
Trump Puts Border Security at Top of Achievement List
Immigration featured prominently in Trump’s assessment of his administration.
The president described the US border as the most secure in the country’s history and claimed that no undocumented migrants had been admitted into the United States for the previous 16 months.
The White House has made similar claims about border enforcement. In a September 9 assessment of Trump’s record, the administration said it had gone 15 consecutive months without releasing an undocumented migrant into the country and pointed to negative net migration in 2025.
Trump also highlighted his signing of the Laken Riley Act, legislation requiring the detention of certain undocumented immigrants accused or convicted of specified crimes.
Trump Points to Falling Murder Rate
Crime was another major part of the president’s list.
Trump claimed his administration had overseen the largest decline in the US murder rate ever recorded and said the rate had reached its lowest level in 125 years.
The White House has separately promoted declining crime as one of the administration’s major accomplishments, describing recent levels as historically low.
Trump also cited deployments of the National Guard to Washington, D.C., Memphis and New Orleans as part of his administration’s approach to law and order.
Tax Cuts and Trump Accounts Feature in Economic Record
On domestic economic policy, Trump highlighted tax changes enacted during his second term.
He pointed to legislation he calls the “Great Big Beautiful Bill,” saying it delivered what he described as the largest tax cuts in American history.
Among the provisions highlighted by Trump were tax relief involving tips and overtime earnings, along with measures affecting taxes paid by seniors receiving Social Security benefits.
The White House has promoted these policies around the country, including provisions covering qualifying overtime income and deductions benefiting seniors.
Trump additionally highlighted the launch of “Trump Accounts,” tax-advantaged investment accounts for American children that he said would begin with $1,000 for eligible newborns.
Trump Claims Trillions in New US Investment
The president said his administration had secured commitments worth $19.2 trillion in new investment in the United States.
He linked that investment drive to his broader trade and industrial strategy, including tariffs intended to encourage companies to manufacture more goods domestically.
Trump specifically cited tariffs of 50 percent on certain foreign copper, aluminium and steel imports and 25 percent on foreign automobiles.
He also claimed American exports had climbed to unprecedented levels, with the country on course to export $2.5 trillion worth of goods during the year.
Stock Market and Employment Included Among Trump’s Claims
Trump also pointed to financial markets and employment as evidence of what he described as his administration’s economic success.
According to the president, the US stock market had registered 80 all-time record highs since the election.
He further claimed that more Americans were working than at any previous point in US history.
The claims form part of a broader economic message the administration has been promoting ahead of the midterms, alongside tax reductions, domestic investment and manufacturing policies.
Military Spending and Iran Operations Highlighted
Foreign policy and defence occupied a significant portion of Trump’s list.
The president said his administration had made what he described as the largest investment ever in the US Armed Forces, citing military spending of $1 trillion for the current year and expressing hope that it would rise to $1.5 trillion the following year.
Trump also pointed to US military operations against Iran, saying Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury had destroyed Iran’s nuclear enrichment capabilities and prevented Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
His description represents the administration’s assessment of the impact of those operations.
Trump Highlights Maduro Capture and Anti-Cartel Operations
Trump also cited the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro through what he called Operation Absolute Resolve as one of his major foreign-policy achievements.
Drug cartels were another focus.
The president said US forces had carried out multiple military strikes against cartel operations in the Western Hemisphere and claimed that the flow of fentanyl across the border had fallen by 60 percent.
Earlier White House figures reported a 56 percent reduction in fentanyl trafficking at the southern border during 2025, alongside increased action against groups designated by the administration as terrorist organisations.
Prescription Drug Prices Included in Trump’s Record
Healthcare also appeared on Trump’s list, particularly his administration’s efforts to reduce prescription drug costs.
Trump said his government had secured Most Favoured Nation agreements designed to bring American medicine prices closer to those paid in other countries.
He claimed that price differences for some medicines had previously reached hundreds of percentage points.
The administration has promoted the policy as an attempt to reduce disparities between US prescription drug prices and those available internationally.
Trump Celebrates Energy and Automobile Policy Changes
Energy policy formed another central element of Trump’s assessment.
The president said his administration had ended policies associated with the Green New Deal, declared a National Energy Emergency and accelerated domestic drilling.
Trump also highlighted his administration’s decision to reverse electric-vehicle requirements and other regulations affecting automobile manufacturers.
Those measures are part of the administration’s wider strategy of increasing domestic fossil-fuel production while reducing federal regulations it considers burdensome to manufacturers.
DEI, Transgender Policies and Education Make Trump’s List
Trump included several of his administration’s most politically contentious social policies among his 25 achievements.
He said his administration had abolished Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies across the federal government and had also taken action against DEI practices in parts of the private sector.
Trump further highlighted measures restricting transgender women and girls from participating in female sports and policies aimed at removing what his administration describes as transgender ideology and critical race theory from schools.
These measures have generated continuing political and legal disputes over civil rights, education policy and federal authority.
Trump Claims Eight Wars Settled
Turning again to foreign affairs, Trump said his administration had helped settle eight wars through peace agreements during its first 12 months, including the conflict in Gaza.
He also credited his administration with securing the return of hostages, referring to both living captives and the remains of those who died.
The president presented these developments as evidence that his foreign-policy strategy had produced results beyond America’s borders.
Refugee Admissions and English Language Policy Highlighted
Trump also included his administration’s suspension of refugee admissions among his accomplishments, specifically mentioning Somalia and other countries regarded by his government as security concerns.
The White House has previously confirmed the suspension of refugee resettlement and other restrictions affecting immigration from numerous countries.
Trump concluded his list by pointing to his move to designate English as the official language of the United States.
White House Promotes Record Ahead of Midterm Elections
Trump’s 25-point list comes as the White House increasingly focuses attention on the administration’s record ahead of the 2026 congressional elections.
A White House review released earlier in September similarly promoted border enforcement, falling crime, energy production, tax reductions and foreign policy as central achievements of Trump’s second term.
The latest Truth Social post packages those policies into a single political message, presenting Trump’s assessment of his performance since returning to office and highlighting the issues his administration wants voters to associate with its record as the midterm campaign intensifies.
