South African actor and comedian Leon Schuster has apologised to Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus after an emotional social media post criticising the team’s performance in their 42-38 defeat to Australia.
Schuster, a passionate supporter of South African rugby, acknowledged that his reaction had been driven by emotion and said he regretted the way he expressed his frustration.
The 75-year-old entertainer issued the apology on Facebook, directing part of his message specifically to Erasmus.
