Princess Kate looks exquisite in a £99 Hicks & Brown fedora plaid coat, she joins the Royal Family for a church service in Balmoral,

Kate, the Princess of Wales, showcased an effortless and stylish appearance as she attended a Sunday church service with Prince William and Prince Andrew. The service took place at Crathie Kirk church in Scotland, and notable figures like King Charles and Queen Camilla were also in attendance. Kate, 41, wore a tartan coat that exuded elegance, pairing it with a new dark brown wool felt fedora adorned with feathers. This fashionable hat is from Hicks & Brown and is priced at £99. It’s available in several other colors, such as camel, dusky pink, and maroon. Kate’s brown hair was styled in a neat low bun, and the fedora was artfully positioned on her head.

Kate further embraced the autumn theme with her ensemble by complementing the hat with a beige tartan jacket. She accessorized with silver drop earrings and subtle natural makeup, accentuated by a delicate rose-colored lipstick. The Princess of Wales has demonstrated a fondness for fedoras, often wearing them at significant family gatherings, such as the annual Sandringham service. During last Christmas’s event, she notably wore an olive green hat.

Other senior members of the royal family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Royal, and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, attended the church service as well. The gathering marked a notable occasion, as it was the first time a large group of royals had convened at the Scottish estate since Queen Elizabeth’s passing on September 8 of the previous year. Despite the initial rush of senior royals to Queen Elizabeth’s Aberdeenshire castle as her health declined at the age of 96, many were unable to visit her before her passing.

In the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth’s passing, Buckingham Palace had announced that King Charles intended to commemorate the anniversary of her death with quiet reflection at Balmoral. He planned to receive visits from family and friends during this time. Recently, King Charles, accompanied by Queen Camilla, participated in a traditional ceremony during which a new color, named the Ballater Colour, was presented to the Royal Guard. This color will be used by the Royal Guard to mark the reign of a new monarch and is employed by the soldiers stationed at Balmoral Castle while the King resides there during the summer months.
