Mark Wright Reveals He Was Rushed to Hospital After Falling in Las Vegas Hotel Bathroom and Suffering Serious Head Injury

Mark Wright recently opened up about a health scare during his trip to Las Vegas.

The 37-year-old TV personality was in the city attending a Formula One event when he suffered a nasty fall in his hotel bathroom.

Sharing the details in a video recorded during his flight back to the UK, Mark revealed he had been rushed to the hospital and received over 30 stitches for a large cut on his forehead.

Speaking candidly, he explained, “It happened in the middle of the night.

I wasn’t drunk, just half asleep, and I slipped.

But I’m fine now and can’t wait to get home to see my wife and loved ones.”

Despite the ordeal, Mark maintained a positive outlook and seemed eager to enjoy the festive season.

Behind the Scenes of Mark’s Hospital Stay

Steve Weiser, Las Vegas Bureau Chief for Extra TV, shared photos of Mark in the hospital on social media, praising his professionalism.

“Nothing was going to stop him from delivering the goods for Extra TV and Vegas—not even a trip to the ER,” Weiser wrote.

Mark, who previously worked as an entertainment correspondent for Extra TV, stepped down from the role in 2019 to spend more time in the UK with his wife, actress Michelle Keegan.

Reflecting on his decision, Mark told The Sun that leaving Los Angeles after nearly two years was the right move for him.

A Festive Homecoming

Back in the UK, Mark is ready to embrace the holiday season alongside Michelle.

The couple recently showcased their extravagant Christmas decorations at their Essex mansion, giving fans a glimpse of their beautifully adorned home through their shared Instagram account.

The Georgian-style property was lit up with fairy lights framing the windows and an elaborate display of greenery and reindeer statues by the door.

Inside, the festive vibe continued with a grand Christmas tree, sweeping staircase draped in baubles, and luxurious red and gold accents.

Turning a House into a Dream Home

Mark and Michelle purchased their Essex mansion in 2019 for £1.3 million and spent years transforming it into their dream home.

The now fully renovated property features five bedrooms, a custom kitchen, a home cinema, a sauna, and even a football pitch.

After wrapping up renovations in 2023, the couple celebrated with a stylish pool party, marking a new chapter in their home life.

The couple’s Instagram page, @wrightyhome, has become a hotspot for fans eager to follow their renovation journey.

Their stunning home has even shifted their lifestyle priorities—these days, they prefer cozy nights in with their dogs over late nights out.

Balancing Work and Quality Time

Despite their hectic schedules, Mark and Michelle make it a point to enjoy quality time together.

Michelle once shared that their nights out have become shorter but sweeter.

“We love dressing up for dinner, but we’re usually home by 9:30 these days,” she joked.

As the holidays approach, it seems the couple is more than ready to soak up the magic of the season, surrounded by their loved ones in the comfort of their beautifully crafted home.
