Jonathan Owens is taking a detour from his NFL training camp to cheer on his wife, Simone Biles, at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The Chicago Bears safety is excited to be in the stands for the women’s team final, and he’s making sure to be there in person for her big moment.
While Owens has been busy with training sessions in Lake Forest, Illinois, he’s been following Biles’ Olympic journey from afar. The superstar gymnast’s performance has captured his admiration, and he’s been vocal about his support on social media.
Recently, he decided he couldn’t miss out on the chance to be there live, so he’s flown to Paris to be by her side.
A Special Message from Owens
This morning, Owens shared a snapshot on Instagram from his plane, showing himself giving a peace sign.
His caption, “Coming for you baby,” along with blue heart and plane emojis, expressed his excitement and support.
He’ll arrive just in time to watch Biles and Team USA compete in the women’s team event, which kicks off at 5:15 PM UK time.
