Jemima Goldsmith has shared a glimpse of her wedding to financier Cameron O’Reilly, revealing emotional photographs from a ceremony that brought together their children and wider families.
The 52-year-old film producer married O’Reilly, 62, on Saturday, September 12, wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown as she exchanged vows with the multi-millionaire businessman.
Among the most striking moments from the celebration was Jemima being escorted down a candle-lit aisle by her two sons, Sulaiman, 29, and Kasim, 27.
Her Sons Walk Her Down the Aisle
Sulaiman and Kasim, whom Jemima shares with former Pakistani prime minister and cricket star Imran Khan, appeared proud as they accompanied their mother during the ceremony.
The brothers were part of a wedding that prominently featured members of both families, with the newlyweds later posing for photographs alongside their blended family.
Jemima’s daughter-in-law and relatives also joined the celebrations, while the family gathering reflected the close involvement of the couple’s children in the occasion.
Imran Khan’s Daughter Joins the Bridal Party
Imran Khan’s daughter, Tyrian Khan-White, was among Jemima’s bridesmaids.
O’Reilly’s daughters, Sasha and Tara, were also part of the bridal party, creating a ceremony that brought together children from both sides of the couple’s families.
Jemima’s nieces, Edie and Eliza, were also bridesmaids, while Bluey and Arthur were credited by the bride as the couple’s pageboys.
The bridesmaids wore satin blue dresses, while the ushers and pageboys complemented the colour scheme with blue waistcoats and pinstripe tailored trousers.
Goldsmith Thanks Those Who Made the Day Special
Following the wedding, Jemima posted photographs and thanked the people who helped make the occasion memorable.
“Thank you to everyone who made this day so very special & happy for both of us,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also named members of the wedding party, identifying Elliot and Oscar O’Reilly as the best men and listing Frankie, Isaac, James, Gav and Tony among the ushers.
Jemima also thanked Martha Ward for dressing her, alongside Kate Rothschild and Annabel Rivkin, whom she described as her “peerless A team”.
A Second Marriage for Jemima
The wedding marks Jemima’s second marriage.
She was previously married to Imran Khan, with whom she has Sulaiman and Kasim.
The couple married in 1995 and remained together for nine years before ending their marriage in 2004.
Jemima later had high-profile relationships with actor Hugh Grant, comedian Russell Brand and The Crown scriptwriter Peter Morgan.
Her brother Ben Goldsmith subsequently confirmed that Jemima and Cameron had married, while his wife, Jemima Jones, shared her own reaction online, writing: “What a happy day!”
O’Reilly Comes From a Prominent Irish-Australian Family
Cameron O’Reilly is the son of the late Sir Anthony O’Reilly, the Irish-Australian media magnate and former international rugby player.
An Oxford graduate, Cameron spent years working within his family’s media businesses, including Independent News & Media and Australia’s APN News & Media.
He stepped down as chief executive in 2000.
He later entered private equity, launching Bayard Capital in 2003.
The fund acquired Swiss electricity metering company Landis+Gyr, with O’Reilly serving as chief executive before the business was sold to Toshiba for $2.3 billion in 2011.
The Couple Met Through Their Work
Jemima and Cameron are understood to have met through their professional work, when O’Reilly was involved as an executive producer on documentaries and films.
A friend previously told the Daily Mail that the pair had known each other as friends before their relationship became romantic.
“They first met through work and were friends for a while before that,” the friend said, adding that they had been together for just over a year at the time.
The source also described Cameron as a private person and said Jemima was keen to protect his privacy.
The couple’s relationship became public earlier this year, with reports in May revealing that they had become engaged following their year-long romance.
Jemima’s Family Has Welcomed Cameron
Several members of Jemima’s family are understood to have met her new husband and formed a good relationship with him.
Her half-brother Robin Birley, the owner of the London private members’ club 5 Hertford Street, is among those who have met Cameron.
The wedding came almost a year after the death of Jemima’s mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith, the socialite whose name was given to the famous Annabel’s nightclub in London’s Mayfair.
Jemima’s father, billionaire businessman Sir James Goldsmith, died in 1997.
Family Ties Remain Linked to Imran Khan
Jemima’s first marriage continues to connect her family to Imran Khan, who has been imprisoned in Pakistan since 2023 over corruption charges that he denies.
Jemima and her sons have campaigned for Khan’s release.
Lawyers said last month that Khan’s health had deteriorated while in custody, with his legal team describing his prison conditions as “barbaric”.
His case also prompted intervention from Pakistan’s Supreme Court, although he was briefly taken to a government hospital before being considered fit to return to his cell.
Reports have also said Khan suffered substantial loss of vision in his right eye, which was attributed to a blood clot.
Sulaiman and Kasim have criticised what they described as insufficient support from the British government and have expressed hope of speaking with Prime Minister Andy Burnham about their father’s situation.
For Jemima, however, the wedding photographs capture a different family moment, with her sons, her former husband’s daughter and her new husband’s children all playing visible roles in the celebration.
