…By Dorcas Funmi for TDPel Media. A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, has assumed the position of National Security Adviser (NSA).

The retired Assistant Inspector General of Police took over from the immediate past NSA, Maj Gen. Babagana Monguno (Rtd.), in a brief ceremony held at the NSA Office on Monday.

Promising to Tackle Insecurity

In his inaugural speech, Ribadu made a commitment to ensure the security of the nation and combat various forms of criminal activities such as terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping.
