Vanessa Feltz has criticised British Airways after a technical failure left her and her grandchildren stranded in Sardinia while they waited for information about their flight home.
The 64-year-old broadcaster had travelled to the Italian island for a family break but found herself caught up in a lengthy airport queue after the airline’s systems reportedly went down.
Taking to social media on Sunday, Vanessa shared her frustration with followers, explaining that passengers had been left waiting without clear information about what would happen next.
Broadcaster Says Passengers Were Given No Answers
In a video recorded from the airport, Vanessa described the situation as chaotic, saying passengers were standing in line with little indication of when the problem would be resolved.
She complained that there appeared to be no alternative arrangement in place and that nobody was able to tell travellers whether they would eventually be able to board their flight.
Despite her frustration, Vanessa managed to inject some humour into the ordeal.
While standing with her four grandchildren, she joked that spending so much time in the queue might even lead to an unexpected romantic encounter.
She quipped that she was building “great relationships” with her grandchildren and might even meet a man who would agree to marry her while they waited.

A second video showed that the situation had apparently not improved.
Vanessa said the queue was barely moving and accused the airline of failing to provide passengers with meaningful updates.
She also joked about the possibility of abandoning her luggage altogether, poking fun at the clothes packed inside her suitcase as her frustration continued to grow.
The broadcaster questioned why the airline could not simply process passengers manually, saying staff appeared to require further authorisation before taking action.
Her comments reflected the growing frustration among travellers who were left uncertain about when they would be able to leave the airport.
