Tower Hamlets in London has had a major fire, and black smoke plumes can be seen as far away as the M25.

Social media videos show the top of Bow House Business Centre, located on Fairfield Road in Bow, east of the city, engulfed in flames.

On social media, some people claimed that the residential apartments above the business facility were where the fire started, however the London Fire Brigade has not yet disclosed this information.

Shocked commuters on the Elizabeth Line passing through Stratford shared video of the massive black smoke clouds covering the capital’s skyline.

Some people sent pictures of the tragedy from London Bridge on the other side of the capital, where they could see the burning building’s smoke for miles.

According to the London Fire Brigade, there were 15 fire engines and about 100 firemen present.

According to reports, the six floor building’s roof is mostly on fire.

People are urged to stay away from the area.

A police barrier and numerous blue light ambulances could be seen in front of the burning buildings in TikTok footage of the blaze.

Other videos posted on the social media platform X, now known as Twitter, showed throngs of people congregated in Bow to observe emergency services in action while sirens wailed.

Two cranes were used by the fire department to spray water onto the roof.

At this time, there are no reports of injuries.

After receiving 120 calls to 999, emergency personnel hurried to the area since, according to the brigade, the fire was “very visible.”

As firefighters attempted to put out the fires, large crowds of onlookers gathered close to the building.

Firefighters from the nearby fire stations at Homerton, Whitechapel, and Bethnal Green are present.

All emergency services are working hard to put out a fire on Bow Road, junction with Fairfield Road, E3, according to Tower Hamlets police on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Please take a different route and avoid the area.

Long traffic lineups are starting to form, and TfL buses 25, 108, 205, and 425 are all being detoured.

Crews are still working hard and making solid progress at the fire at a business centre with residences above in Bow, according to a statement from the London Fire Brigade on X.

To combat the flames from a higher vantage point, two of the Brigade’s 32m turntable ladders have been set up as water towers.

According to the Met Police, at this moment, comments are not being made.
