Lifetime actress Natasha Wilson has filed a lawsuit alleging that a dog attack at a West Hollywood park left her with permanent facial scarring and serious injuries that have affected her acting career.

Wilson claims she was attacked while attempting to protect her French Bulldog from another dog at the West Hollywood Dog Park.

She is seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost wages and the alleged long-term damage to her earning capacity.

Actress Alleges Dog Attacked Her While Protecting French Bulldog

According to a lawsuit obtained by the New York Post, the incident happened on November 7, 2024, at approximately 9.40pm.

Wilson says she was walking her French Bulldog when they encountered Gregory Marcel and his dog, Scruffy.

The lawsuit alleges that Scruffy approached her pet and stood over it in what was described as an aggressive and dominant posture.

When the dog allegedly attacked her French Bulldog, Wilson attempted to pick up her pet to protect it and move away from the situation.

However, she claims Scruffy jumped on her as she tried to escape, knocking her to the ground.

The lawsuit states that the dog continued its attack while Wilson used her body and hands to shield her Bulldog.

Dog Attack Left Actress With Serious Facial Injuries

Wilson alleges that Scruffy bit her above her right eyebrow during the incident, leaving her with a bleeding facial wound.

Following the attack, she was taken to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai, with Marcel accompanying her.

According to the lawsuit, the injury required multiple stitches, and she was prescribed antibiotics before being discharged.

The complaint states that Wilson has been left with a permanent and painful scar above her right eyebrow.

It also alleges that the injury changed the appearance of her eyebrow and hair growth pattern while affecting movement in the area.

According to the New York Post, doctors have advised the actress that she will require scar revision surgery to address the damage.

She is also expected to undergo additional medical treatment.

Wilson Claims Facial Disfigurement Has Damaged Her Acting Career

The actress alleges that the physical consequences of the attack have prevented her from returning to her usual work on screen.

Her lawsuit claims the visible scarring has made it difficult for her to secure new acting opportunities, resulting in lost earnings and reduced future earning potential.

The complaint states that Wilson was unable to pursue her regular occupation following the incident and suffered financial losses as a result.

She is seeking damages covering her medical bills, lost wages and the alleged impairment of her ability to earn a living as an actress.

Actress Built Career Through Lifetime Films and Television Drama

Wilson is best known for her appearances in several Lifetime television movies, particularly romantic comedies and thrillers.

One of her most notable roles was playing Maya in the television drama series UnREAL, which starred Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer.

She appeared in 14 episodes of the series across its three-season run between 2015 and 2018.

Her acting career spans more than two decades, with projects dating back to 2001.

Her IMDb credits also include four projects released in 2023 and two in 2022.

Her most recent film credit is Trust in Love, which was released in January 2024, approximately 10 months before the alleged dog attack.

Lawsuit Seeks Compensation as Representatives Remain Silent

Wilson’s Instagram account contains no posts dated beyond June 2025.

Her remaining uploads following the November 2024 incident include clips from previously filmed productions and photographs that appear to have been taken earlier.

The Daily Mail said it had contacted representatives for both Wilson and Marcel for comment regarding the lawsuit but had not received a response at the time of publication.

The allegations contained in the lawsuit have not been independently established in court.
