Sienna Miller turned heads in a vintage-inspired ensemble as she attended the premiere of her upcoming film Madden alongside co-star Christian Bale in Culver City, California, on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old actress opted for a pink satin mini-dress featuring dramatic ruffled detailing and a ruched design.
She completed the look with delicate strappy heels, while her blonde hair was styled in soft waves.
Her makeup featured matching pink tones.
Miller also gave photographers a closer look at the dress’s distinctive back detailing as she posed sideways on the red carpet.
Miller Reunites With Co-Star Kathryn Hahn
Following her photographs with Bale, Miller joined fellow cast member Kathryn Hahn for more red carpet pictures.
Hahn wore a fitted black dress with sheer panelling, while the two actresses shared laughs and appeared comfortable in each other’s company.
The pair play prominent roles in the film, with Miller portraying Carol Davis, the wife of former Las Vegas Raiders owner Al Davis, and Hahn taking on the role of John Madden’s wife, Virginia.
Christian Bale and Nicolas Cage Lead the Cast
Bale, 52, attended the screening in an all-black outfit consisting of a two-piece suit, shirt and dress shoes.
He portrays Al Davis, the former principal owner of the Oakland Raiders who worked closely with Madden during his time as head coach.
Nicolas Cage, 62, also appeared at the premiere with his wife, Riko Shibata, 31, whom he married in February 2021.
Shibata wore a STAUD Esther Butterfly high-neck mini-dress paired with brown pointed-toe slingback heels.
Cage, who plays legendary NFL coach and commentator John Madden, wore a black suit with an orange patterned tie.
His appearance in the film involves extensive prosthetics, a fat suit and a wig to recreate Madden’s physical features.
Film Shows Miller’s Transformation Into Carol Davis
Promotional images released ahead of the premiere have offered a glimpse of Miller’s transformation into Carol Davis.
In the photographs, the actress wears a blonde bouffant perm, a teal jacket and a matching necklace.
One of the images also shows her smoking a cigarette while portraying the character.
Carol was a part-owner of the Raiders alongside her husband and inherited his stake following his death in 2011.
Known as the First Lady of Raider Nation, she died in October last year at the age of 93.
Star-Studded Cast Features John Mulaney and Shane Gillis
Other cast members at the premiere included comedians John Mulaney and Shane Gillis.
Mulaney, who portrays business mogul Trip Hawkins, joined the cast for the event, while Gillis also attended in a pale blue shirt and matching jacket.
The film additionally features Joel Murray as sportscaster Pat Summerall, who worked alongside Madden during his broadcasting career.
A preview of the production shows Cage recreating Madden’s animated approach to football commentary.
In one scene, he frantically writes on a sheet of paper while struggling to explain the action on the field.
He says: “I have no idea where we are, who we are, where we’re coming from or who we’re throwing to.”
Summerall, played by Murray, responds calmly: “Very interesting.”
David O Russell Directs the John Madden Biopic
Madden is directed by David O Russell, whose previous films include Flirting with Disaster, The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle.
The story centres on John Madden, the former NFL coach who became one of American football’s most recognisable television commentators.
In the preview, Bale’s character, Al Davis, reflects on Madden’s uniqueness, saying: “There’s only one John Madden. They didn’t make another one.
He is one of a kind. Football wouldn’t be football without him.”
Bale and Russell have previously collaborated on several projects, beginning with the 2010 film The Fighter, in which Bale portrayed former professional boxer Dicky Eklund.
They reunited for the 2013 crime comedy American Hustle and later worked together on the 2022 mystery comedy Amsterdam, which Bale also helped produce.
Madden is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on November 18.
