Britney Spears Deactivates Instagram Ahead of Book Release
Britney Spears, the 41-year-old pop star, has chosen to deactivate her Instagram account just days before the launch of her tell-all memoir, “The Woman In Me.”
This decision comes as her book continues to generate headlines worldwide due to the shocking revelations unveiled prior to its release on October 24.
The Book’s Bombshell Revelations
The book’s teaser excerpts have already unveiled eye-opening details about Britney’s three-year relationship with fellow singer Justin Timberlake in the early 2000s, causing a stir and backlash directed at the NSYNC band member.
Within the pages, Britney confesses to infidelity during her relationship with Timberlake, admitting to cheating on him with one of her dancers.
She also reveals the sensitive subject of having had an abortion at the age of 19 because Justin “wasn’t ready to be a father.”
Britney’s Concerns and Instagram Departure
Before deactivating her Instagram page, Britney shared her concerns about the drama that was already surrounding the book’s revelations.
In posts that are no longer available, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the headlines and the reason why she stepped away from the entertainment industry four years ago.
Britney clarified that most of the content in her memoir is from events that occurred 20 years ago, emphasizing her desire to focus on the present and future, effectively turning the page on her past.
She concluded by stating her intention to establish a clean slate for the rest of her life.
Contradicting Claims from Songwriting Partner
Britney’s former songwriting partner, Annet Artani, refuted one of Britney’s claims regarding infidelity in the book.
Annet, who co-wrote the song “Everytime” with Britney in 2003, suggested that Britney’s “affair” with Wade Robson was more significant and scandalous than portrayed in the book.
According to Annet, Britney had written and concealed a 14-page breakup letter to the dancer, which is not something you do for “someone you only kissed.”
Justin had reportedly found this letter hidden in Britney’s makeup bag before she could deliver it to the dancer.
The breakup ultimately occurred via a text message, leaving Britney feeling “devastated and ‘comatose,” as mentioned in her memoir.
This latest development adds to the intrigue surrounding Britney’s upcoming book release, promising more insights into the life of this iconic pop star.
