Actress Sabrina Bartlett has married her longtime partner, businessman Lachie Stewart, in a picturesque wedding ceremony in Tuscany, Italy.
The 35-year-old actress announced the marriage on Instagram on Friday, sharing a collection of photographs from the celebrations and confirming that the couple exchanged vows on August 29.
Bartlett, who rose to prominence for her portrayal of opera singer Siena Russo in Netflix’s Bridgerton, looked elegant in a strapless ivory wedding dress as she celebrated with her new husband, family and friends.
Bride Stuns in Corseted Ivory Wedding Dress
The ceremony took place at La Pescaia Resort in Maremma, where Bartlett wore a strapless gown featuring a fitted corseted bodice, a voluminous skirt and a flowing train.
Stewart opted for a traditional black tuxedo for the occasion.
Photographs from the ceremony captured him becoming visibly emotional as he watched his bride walk towards him.
The couple also shared several romantic moments, including photographs of them displaying their wedding rings, exchanging a passionate kiss and looking into each other’s eyes.
Newlyweds Thank Family and Wedding Team
The wedding photographs, taken by destination photography and cinematography company Kreativ Wedding, documented different stages of the celebration.
Among the images were Bartlett’s walk down the aisle, formal photographs with family and friends, and the newlyweds receiving guests at their reception.
The couple also gave guests a glimpse of their wedding cake, which featured fruit decorations, before later revealing their evening outfits.
Bartlett changed into a backless ivory satin gown for the evening celebrations.
Sharing the photographs on Instagram, she thanked those who attended and the professionals involved in organising the occasion.
“To our beloved friends and families, thank you for making memories with us that will last a lifetime,” she wrote.
She also expressed gratitude to the wedding team for helping bring their plans to life.
Bartlett Previously Announced Engagement in Australia
The actress had previously announced her engagement to Stewart through an Instagram post featuring the couple during a holiday in Australia.
Showing off her engagement ring, she captioned the photograph “Lach’d in”, accompanied by a ring emoji.
The announcement attracted congratulatory messages from followers and friends.
The couple had been together for three years before their wedding.
Actress Previously Experienced Relationship Breakup
Bartlett’s marriage comes several years after her relationship with actor Tom Greaves ended in 2021.
The former couple had been together for three years and shared a flat in east London before their separation.
Greaves, who appeared in the 2018 film Peter Rabbit, was reportedly said to have moved on following the breakup, while Bartlett returned to live with her parents at their seaside home in Kent.
A source previously told the Daily Mail that the pair had been very much in love but that their relationship had ultimately not worked out.
Bartlett’s Acting Career Includes Bridgerton and The Larkins
Bartlett first attracted wider attention when she was cast as Mariette Larkin in ITV’s 2021 remake of The Darling Buds of May.
The role had previously been played by Catherine Zeta-Jones in the original television adaptation of H. E. Bates’ 1958 novel.
Bartlett starred alongside Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan, who portrayed Pop and Ma Larkin, respectively.
However, she left the production after its first series and did not return for the second instalment.
Her departure was publicly attributed to scheduling issues, although reports subsequently linked it to a disagreement involving a co-star.
She was later replaced by Emmerdale actress Joelle Rae.
The actress also appeared in ITV’s Victoria before securing her role as Siena Russo in Netflix’s Bridgerton.
