Who is Tamaryn Green’s husband? Five things to know about Ze Nxumalo

• Tamaryn Green and Ze Nxumalo reportedly began dating in February 2019.
• The pair made their relationship “Red Carpet Official” at the Style Awards in 2019.
• Ze proposed to Tamaryn in April 2021 at Sweni Lodge in the Kruger National Park.
• The pair held their lobola negotiations in June 2021. Lobola is the traditional “bridal wealth” paid by the man to the family of his wife-to-be in the form of livestock or other means
• Tamaryn and Ze had their umembeso ceremony in October 2021. Umembeso is a process in the traditional Zulu wedding where the groom gives gifts to the bride’s family, following the lobola negotiations.

So, what do we know about Ze?

1. HE IS AN ENTREPRENEUR

Ze is known as a “serial” entrepreneur. He invested in transport service company Uber in 2014 – he went on to buy a fleet of Uber vehicles and employ drivers within a short period of time.

He is also the founder of ZIG Holdings, a youth investment holding company which later became the enterprise development partner to EOH, a Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed entity that he advised and consulted for. On top of that, Ze is the executive director and youth empowerment partner of Richmark Holdings.

“I believe that if you give it your all, you will succeed. I didn’t allow my age to be a stumbling block. When I walk into a room, I am just as smart like everyone else, and just as qualified to do what I do as the person I am meeting with,” said Nxumalo to News 24 of his success.

2. ZE WAS BORN IN JOHANNESBURG

The entrepreneur was born in northern Johannesburg but spent most of his time in Durban.

3. HE TURNS 29 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR

Ze will turn 29 years old in June this year. So, the age difference between him and Tamaryn is just one. This is because the former Miss South Africa will turn 28 in August this year this year.

4. ZE IS A LAW GRADUATE

The entrepreneur studied a Bachelor of Law degree at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

5. HE IS A PRIVATE PERSON

Although Ze is married to a former Miss South Africa, he maintains a private and lowkey life on social media. He has only 11 posts on Instagram and seven of those posts are dedicated to his wife.
