Filming a tense scene can be intense, but sometimes it gets unexpectedly messy.
Sarah Paulson opened up about a funny on-set incident while working with Kim Kardashian on their upcoming legal drama, All’s Fair.
The 50-year-old actress revealed that a piece of food accidentally flew from her mouth and landed right in Kardashian’s eye during one of their heated face-off moments.
“I had to say some really scandalous things in Kim’s face,” Paulson told People.
“At one point, a potato chip shot out while I was screaming at her.
Bing! Right in her eye. I felt awful, but it was one of those things you just can’t plan for.”
Co-Stars Couldn’t Hold Back Laughter
Keeping a straight face on this set has proven to be no easy task.
Co-stars Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, Naomi Watts, and Teyana Taylor all admitted that Paulson and Kardashian frequently struggled to contain their laughter.
“Sarah and Kim sometimes couldn’t look at each other without cracking up,” Close said.
Nash-Betts added, “Once the laughter starts, we knew it would be at least 30 minutes before filming could continue.”
Kim Kardashian Takes on a Fierce Legal Role
In All’s Fair, Kardashian steps into the shoes of sharp divorce attorney Allura Grant, a woman determined to dismantle her younger husband who married her for money.
The series, created by Ryan Murphy, follows a team of powerhouse female lawyers who leave their firm to start their own company.
Big-name guest stars including Brooke Shields, Elizabeth Berkley, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Judith Light make appearances as clients navigating high-stakes legal battles.
Learning From the Best
Kardashian praised the cast for their professionalism and experience. “Working with a cast like this, I wanted to be completely prepared.
I made sure I knew my lines, was on time, and stayed professional,” she said on the Graham Norton Show.
“These women are the greatest at what they do, and I learned something new every day. It honestly felt like summer camp.”
Kim Kardashian Awaits Bar Exam Results
Away from the cameras, Kardashian is nearing another milestone: waiting for the results of the California bar exam.
The SKIMS founder has spent six years completing a law apprenticeship, bypassing the traditional law school route.
She cleared the ‘baby bar’ on her fourth attempt in December 2021 and recently finished the rigorous final exam.
“I took the bar exam in July, and I’ll get the results a few days after our premiere.
Please pray for me! I worked so hard,” Kardashian said.
She added with a laugh, “Maybe in 10 years, I’ll give up being Kim K and become a trial lawyer. That’s my real dream.”
The results will be announced on November 7, 2025, bringing Kardashian one step closer to officially entering the legal profession.
