President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious in the 2023 presidential election, dismissing claims made by opposition parties to the contrary.

The Nigerian leader made this statement during his address at the 12th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the ruling party, which took place at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja on Thursday.
Focus on Delivering Good Governance
President Tinubu emphasized that it is now time for the government to deliver on its promises of good governance to the Nigerian people.
With the 2023 election now concluded, he urged the party to focus on fulfilling their commitments and meeting the expectations of the citizens.
According to him, the recently held election stands out as the best in the history of Nigeria.

Dignitaries Present at the NEC Meeting
The NEC meeting witnessed the presence of prominent figures within the APC and the Nigerian political landscape.
Among those in attendance were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and APC governors.
Additionally, former Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, along with members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC), were also present to discuss party matters.
