Nestlé South Africa has announced that it will cease the sale of Nesquik chocolate and strawberry milk drinks, available in both 250g and 500g sizes, starting from August 21, 2023.
This decision marks the end of Nesquik’s presence in the South African market.
Nestlé acknowledges that this move might lead to disappointment among some of its customers.
Other Beverage Lines to Continue Production
While the discontinuation of Nesquik is a significant step, Nestlé assures consumers that production will continue for other popular beverage lines such as Milo, Hot Chocolate, and Cocoa beverages.
These brands have displayed impressive performance and have garnered strong consumer loyalty.
As a result, Nestlé is directing its efforts towards building a more sustainable and health-conscious business in the future.
