Internship with National Geographic Mobile Storytelling (DC)
An intern will assist our editorial team in developing, storyboarding, and editing vertical stories for Instagram, Google AMP, and other new platforms.
This team’s intern should be able to work in a variety of mediums and have a keen eye for photography, video, graphic design, and text.
You should be able to come up with new ways to enable their stories to work in various settings. You will get the option to participate with editors, producers, and photographers from all throughout National Geographic as an intern.
What You Can Contribute To The Role
- Strong Adobe Premiere editing and After Effects motion graphics expertise.
- Strong journalism abilities and an interest in editorial work.

National Geographic Business Affairs Internship
As a Business Affairs intern, you will have the opportunity to assist the team with contract analysis and data entry in order to broaden the candidate’s understanding of media-related words and procedures.
You’ll also collaborate with the team on first draft memoranda, offer letters, summaries, and other written material for close and ongoing business affairs transactions.
Manage interaction with group leaders and enable internal communication across teams to ensure that projects (local legal difficulties, content limits, timing, and so on) are progressing.
Make appointments with internal business units to have a better understanding of NGP’s various business lines as well as client management. To improve the candidate’s active negotiation abilities, observe phone calls and negotiations with external clients.
Eligibility for Internship

- All candidates must be accessible from June 1 through August 7 for the program.

National Geographic International Magazines Internship
The International Magazines Intern collaborates with the International Media Alliances group to administer, assist, and advise authorized versions of National Geographic magazines around the world.
In support of the International Media Alliances team, the International Magazines Intern will learn about the publication production process, the contemporary global media industry, and international business communications.
Develop awareness of photography rights and clearance methods by submitting rights review, estimate, and payment requests to the rights team for execution.
Build understanding of PPT and publishing business/industry trends; update fortnightly Best Practices deck for international magazine licensees.
Compile production files and draft editorial updates for worldwide magazine licensees; improve written communication skills, master new digital file systems, and get an understanding of the publication process.

Internship in National Geographic, Scripted Series, And Documentary Films (CA)
National Geographic, a global cable channel aimed at deepening people’s understanding of the world and their part in it, is looking for an energetic, engaged intern to serve the fast-developing Scripted Series and Documentary Film divisions in Los Angeles.
