Man Hurt in Roosevelt Shooting on Sunday Morning

Police are investigating after a man was shot and injured early Sunday morning in the Roosevelt neighborhood.

Officers rushed to the 1000 block of Northeast 73rd Street at 12:30 a.m. after receiving information that a man had been shot. A 47-year-old male was discovered by responding officers with a gunshot wound to the chest. The injured individual was brought to Harborview Medical Center by paramedics from the Seattle Fire Department.

According to eyewitness accounts, the gunshot occurred outside, and the suspect left in a vehicle.
