Crocodile caught behind police station in KwaZulu-Natal

A 3.3m adult crocodile was captured on Wednesday night, October 18, at a local South African Police Service (SAPS) station near Mandeni in KwaZulu-Natal.

The police station called for assistance around 22:00 on Wednesday for a crocodile behind the station. A team from IPSS Medical Rescue was dispatched to investigate and found a massive adult crocodile.

Ashton Musgrave, a local with experience safely capturing crocodiles, was called to assist. The crocodile was safely captured and loaded onto the back of a waiting vehicle.

It will be relocated to the Hluhluwe area on Thursday morning.
