Adding to the uncertainty, two clubs from outside South Africa have expressed interest in acquiring the services of the 30-year-old goalkeeper.

Ofori now has the option to explore pre-contract agreements with other clubs, allowing him to secure his future as his tenure with Orlando Pirates nears its end.

Having joined Orlando Pirates at the start of the 2020/21 campaign, Richard Ofori has made significant contributions to the team, amassing 58 appearances across various competitions.
