Kris Jenner Surprises Family by Inviting Caitlyn Jenner to Final Dinner in Hidden Hills Mansion, Leaving Kendall and Kylie Stunned

It was a night full of emotions, memories, and unexpected reunions when the Kardashians gathered for one final dinner in their longtime Hidden Hills mansion.

The family home, which Kris and Caitlyn Jenner owned for 15 years, became the setting for a heartfelt farewell — and a surprise guest that left everyone stunned.

The Thursday, October 30 episode of The Kardashians captured the moment Kris Jenner invited her ex, Caitlyn, to join the family one last time before the home was sold.

“Your dad and I bought this house many years ago, and I think one person isn’t here that should be here to say goodbye with us,” Kris told her daughters, Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie, as they held hands before sitting down to dinner.

When Caitlyn, 76, walked through the door, jaws literally dropped.

It had been years since the family had shared such an intimate moment together under the same roof.

Kendall and Kylie React to the Unexpected Appearance

For Kendall, 29, the surprise arrival of her dad was both shocking and touching.

“I definitely wasn’t expecting my dad to be here, just knowing the relationship that my mom has with my dad — not that it’s bad, it’s just distant,” Kendall admitted in a confessional.

She praised Kris for taking the initiative to bridge the gap.

“My mom’s had a hard time inviting my dad to some of our family gatherings in the past, so it makes me happy that Kylie and I didn’t have to ask for my dad to be invited and that my mom just thought it was a good idea,” Kendall said.

The model also reflected on her own relationship with Caitlyn.

“I have to compartmentalize my relationship with my dad,” she explained.

“Even though we have a good relationship, I can get frustrated with her with certain things cause we just have completely different views on things.”

Yet, despite the differences, Kendall emphasized that family always comes first: “I always wanna include her.

I know she doesn’t have a lot outside of her family, and I know that she gets lonely … At the end of the day, it’s really nice to have her around.”

Honoring Years of Family Memories

The emotional evening highlighted the shared history of the family in the Hidden Hills mansion.

Kris reflected on the house’s significance: “We bought this house for Kendall and Kylie and all the kids to grow up in, and we were so excited to make so many special memories.”

Caitlyn responded warmly, affirming the sentiment.

This marked Caitlyn’s first-ever appearance on The Kardashians since the Hulu series began in 2022.

When the show was first announced, Caitlyn had expressed disappointment at being left out, calling it “unfortunate,” though she said she was “happy” for her family.

The surprise nature of her visit was revealed during a confessional with Kris.

“About an hour ago, I called Caitlyn and I said, ‘What are you doing?’ And of course, she said, ‘I’m eating dinner and watching Fox News.’

I said, ‘Would you like to come say goodbye to El Dorado Meadow with us and be with your kids?’ And she said, ‘I’m on my way.’”

One Last Family Photo

After dinner, which included Rob Kardashian, the entire family gathered for a final photo in the mansion’s iconic entryway.

The younger generation — Reign, Saint, True, Chicago, Dream, Psalm, and baby Rocky — were also part of the emotional moment.

As the evening came to a close, Caitlyn hugged Kendall and Kylie goodbye before heading back to her Malibu home.

Kris reflected on the significance of the night: “What a great night.

I’m so happy that we were all here and able to say goodbye to a house that brought us so much joy and love — blood, sweat and tears, highs and lows — and that Caitlyn was there.

It’s been a really long road, but it was Caitlyn’s house too.”
