Kaizer Chiefs trio of Njabulo Blom, Njabulo Ngcobo and Sifiso Hlanti have all been dropped from Hugo Broos’ latest Bafana Bafana squad.
The trio had consistently being making Hugo Broos’ squads including his most recent one that played against Ghana and Zimbabwe late last year.
While Hlanti’s exclusion is due to an achilles injury he suffered late last year, both Njabulo Blom and Njabulo Ngcobo were in the previous two Kaizer Chiefs DStv Premiership squads.
In fact, Njabulo Blom has started every match for the Stuart Baxter’s side so far in 2022 meaning Hugo Broos decided his performances haven’t been up to standard.
Orlando Pirates have had a player of their own dropped in the form striker Tshegofatso Mabasa.
Mamelodi Sundowns Thapelo Morena was also dropped, though a number of his teammates have recieved call ups this time around.
