Jim Ross Shares Shocking Offer From Tammy Sytch After Losing His Wife in 2017 in Recent Podcast Episode

Legendary wrestling announcer Jim Ross recently opened up about a surprising and intimate offer he received from former WWE diva Tammy Sytch after the tragic death of his wife in 2017.

During a recent episode of his podcast Grilling JR, Ross, 73, shared how Sytch, known for her ring persona Sunny, made an unsolicited proposition to him during a vulnerable time in his life.

The ‘Indecent Proposal’ from Sunny

According to Ross, Sytch wanted to move in with him and take care of him, even suggesting she could cook for him and provide companionship in the bedroom.

“She got break after break, after break,” Ross commented, explaining how Sytch had a history of self-inflicted troubles.

He recalled her saying, “Yeah, I’m a good girlfriend. I can cook, I’ll take care of you in the bedroom.

Blah, blah, blah, and we can have a great time.”

Ross seemed taken aback by the offer, stating that at one point Sytch had even expressed a desire to move in with him in Oklahoma, but he made it clear that this was not something he entertained.

Tammy Sytch’s Legal Troubles

While Ross moved on from the awkward proposal, Sytch’s personal life took a much darker turn.

The 51-year-old is currently serving a 17-year prison sentence after causing a fatal car crash while driving under the influence.

Sytch was three times over the legal alcohol limit when she crashed, resulting in the death of a 75-year-old man.

She is now serving her time at the Lowell Correctional Institution in Florida.

Struggles Behind Bars

In a separate interview from March 2024, Sytch opened up about the difficulties she faced behind bars, especially her lack of intimacy.

“It’s already been 22 months without it, and let me tell you, it’s rough,” she shared on the Birds Call Podcast.

Sytch mentioned that while she had no interest in same-sex relationships, she had few options for affection in prison.

She expressed frustration with the situation, saying that she may need to wait until a “quality” person arrives in the facility.

Jim Ross’ Tragic Loss

Ross’ own heartache began in 2017 when his wife, Jan, tragically passed away after a car accident.

Jan was struck by a vehicle while riding her Vespa scooter in Oklahoma.

She was not wearing a helmet and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Following the accident, the case against the 17-year-old driver was dismissed in 2018 by a Cleveland County judge.

The loss of his wife, combined with Sytch’s unexpected proposal, marks a tumultuous period in Ross’ life, one that he’s been open about sharing with his fans.
