In response to the circulating reports, the Director of New Media for Sam Jones Governorship Campaign, Dumebi Ifeanyichukwu, issued a statement addressing the situation.

Ifeanyichukwu highlighted a malicious video that has been widely circulated, falsely claiming Anyanwu’s withdrawal. The campaign council asserted that the video is heavily edited with manipulated audio, aimed at misleading the public.

The campaign council, in its statement, urged the public to disregard the circulating video and reiterated that Samuel Anyanwu remains a steadfast candidate in the gubernatorial race.
