After attending a concert, his friends returned to their hotel, but Quigley stayed behind for a drink at a local bar.
As he made his way home around 1 am, tragedy struck near a bus shelter.
Quigley was brutally assaulted, hitting his head on the cement during the altercation.
Rushed to the hospital, he was placed on life support but sadly succumbed to his injuries ten days later.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner confirmed his death as a result of blunt force trauma to the head, ruling it a homicide.
