James Quigley, a Gulf War Navy veteran, tragically lost his life on the streets of Minneapolis, leaving his family devastated and searching for answers.

It was supposed to be a routine night out with friends for James Quigley in downtown Minneapolis.

After attending a concert, his friends returned to their hotel, but Quigley stayed behind for a drink at a local bar.

As he made his way home around 1 am, tragedy struck near a bus shelter.

Quigley was brutally assaulted, hitting his head on the cement during the altercation.

Rushed to the hospital, he was placed on life support but sadly succumbed to his injuries ten days later.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner confirmed his death as a result of blunt force trauma to the head, ruling it a homicide.
