Governor Makinde Endorses Debo Ogundoyin as Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly

Ogundoyin, who previously held the position in the 9th assembly, is well-acquainted with the responsibilities and challenges of the role.

Governor Makinde made this endorsement known during a ceremony held in Ona Ara Local Government Area.

Electricity Restoration Project Commissioned

The event in Ona Ara also marked the commissioning of an electricity restoration project for various local communities, including Olorunda Ogunsola, Idi Obi, Karen, and the Jigan area.

The project, which aimed to improve access to electricity, was generously donated by prominent Ibadan-based business figure Dotun Sanusi.

New Appointments in Park Management System

In another development, Governor Makinde has appointed Alhaji Oluwatomiwa Omolewa as the new Chairman of the Park Management System (PMS) in the state, replacing Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary.

The appointment was announced through a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju.

The statement also revealed that Alhaji Kasali Ajisafe Lawal has been named the new secretary of the PMS.

These appointments are part of the state government’s reorganization efforts within the Park Management System.
