The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has responded to his recent appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.
The appointment was confirmed by President Tinubu in a statement released on Friday, as communicated by the State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye.
Gbajabiamila Expresses Gratitude and Commitment
Following the announcement, Gbajabiamila took to his Twitter account to express his appreciation to the President for entrusting him with the role and promised to give his best.
He acknowledged the opportunity to serve and pledged to work diligently alongside President Tinubu in fulfilling the significant responsibilities ahead.

In his Twitter post, Gbajabiamila revealed that his official resumption date is set for June 14, 2023.
He expressed his readiness to assume the position and highlighted his extensive experience of serving in the Nigerian Parliament for the past 20 years, having recently been reelected for a sixth term.
