A family of four, which includes two young children, was discovered deceased in their Upper West Side residence. The tragic incident occurred within their home situated on the fourth floor of 328 West 86th Street in the upscale uptown district of Manhattan.
Authorities received an emergency call just prior to 3 pm on Monday, prompting a response from the police and emergency services. Upon arrival at the scene, they found the lifeless bodies of the family members, consisting of a 41-year-old father, a 40-year-old mother, a three-year-old daughter, and a one-year-old son.
According to police sources, knives were found in proximity to the children’s bodies. The adult victims had their throats cut, while the children had sustained stab wounds to their bodies. Although the incident is being treated as a suspected murder-suicide by law enforcement, a comprehensive investigation is currently underway.
The crime scene was attended by numerous police vehicles and officers. Please note that this is a developing news story.
