Ezewuzie Extols Obiano For Giving Disability Community, Others Sense Of Belonging

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State Disability Rights Commission, Barrister Chuks Ezewuzie says Governor Willie Obiano has transformed the socioeconomic life of the State.

 

Barrister Ezewuzie who stated this while speaking to the ABS at  Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area maintained that Governor Obiano has done tremendously well in all aspects of the state economy.

 

Barrister Ezewuzie who is the Special Adviser to Governor Obiano on Disability Matters said that the governor has given a sense of belonging to every onye Anambra and beyond, including members of the Disability community.

 

He made it clear that Governor Obiano was the first in Nigeria to appoint someone from the disability community to be a member of the State Executive Council, as well as appointing disable people as permanent secretaries in the various ministries in the state.

 

Barrister Ezewuzie, a native of Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area who based in the United States of America before his appointment by Governor Obiano thanked the governor for engaging over one hundred and fifty members of the disable community in the state Into the State Civil Service, irrespective of their states of origin.

 

He expressed optimism that the incoming administration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo will leverage on the gains already recorded by the Obiano administration to move Anambra state to a higher pedestal.
