David Carrick, a former Metropolitan Police officer, has denied multiple charges of sexual offences.
The 49-year-old, from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, appeared in court today to plead not guilty to eight charges involving two women.
His appearance took place via video-link at the Old Bailey.
The Charges Against Carrick
Carrick faces a range of serious accusations, including five counts of indecent assault against a teenage girl.
He also denied two charges of rape, one of sexual assault, and another of coercive and controlling behaviour, all alleged to have occurred between 2014 and 2019.
These crimes are said to have taken place in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
Additionally, Carrick is charged with indecent assault relating to a victim under the age of 14, which allegedly took place in Salisbury between 1989 and 1990.
Upcoming Court Proceedings
The case is scheduled for trial at the Old Bailey on November 3, 2025.
A preliminary hearing is set for March 14, 2025.
