Imagine a serene beach setting suddenly turning into a chaotic battleground.
That’s exactly what happened at a beach club in Majorca recently. It all started when a rowdy, inebriated guest was asked to leave the El Peñon beach bar.
Instead of taking the exit quietly, he unleashed a violent outburst, attacking the staff and calling his family for support.
What followed was a wild, chaotic scene of flying fists and furniture.
The footage from the scene is shocking.
Shirtless men in swim trunks were seen throwing punches and hurling chairs at the bar staff.
In one corner, a topless man clashed with a staff member in an apron, while others scrambled to break up the melee.
The scene quickly escalated as more individuals joined in, with onlookers screaming and staff members desperately using chairs to protect themselves.
The Catalyst for Violence
The brawl erupted on a Saturday night.
The trouble started when the intoxicated guest and his family, who were celebrating nearby, entered the bar to use the restroom.
After bothering other customers and staff, the man was asked to leave by the owner.
His response was anything but calm. He called for reinforcements, and soon, the situation spiraled out of control.
Injuries and Arrests
According to local reports, the violence led to several injuries.
A staff member was hospitalized after being struck in the head by a bar stool.
The three men arrested—aged 48, 42, and 43—face charges of violent disorder, assault, and death threats.
All three are reportedly related and have past criminal records.
The incident also resulted in significant damage to the venue, with broken furniture and shattered glassware.
A Pattern of Violence
This is not the first time a beachside brawl has marred Majorca’s reputation.
Back in May, a group of British tourists had a similar altercation at another beach club, resulting in eight arrests.
The scuffle at Balneario Illetas beach club saw several people injured, including a waiter and two police officers, as dozens of holidaymakers clashed on the sand.
The violent incident was further fueled by the reggaeton music blasting in the background.
It’s clear that the beautiful beaches of Majorca are not immune to these types of violent outbursts, as these incidents show a troubling trend of increasing aggression in what should be peaceful vacation spots.
